Böhse Onkelz interview part one.

Your band’s members have never been replaced during nearly 25 years and you must have had problems within your team. How did you manage to keep on so long without scandals and breakups? Share your secret please?

Stephan: Relationships in a band are similar to the relationships in marriage. Being young we have spent a lot of time together, so we know each other very well, and understand what each of us wants, so with thanks to it, all members are trying help others and to contribute something good into the band as much as they can. That's the secret.

Gonzo: Mostly you have to go into compromises. But basically, it was very easy to stay together for so long.

Now let's talk about your latest disc "Adios". While working on it, did you already know that it would be the last your album?

Gonzo: Yes, we knew that. Funny, but when you have decided to break up the band, it is like you fall from the mountain top and hit the ground, but as long as you are sliding on the slope, speeding up, and it is enough speed to start something new. We liked to work on the album a lot, and when you reach the lowest point, you get one’s second wind, and you are ready to continue working while team does not exist any longer. It will just take some time to get used to it.

Will be continued...
